December is the festive season, warm days and nights, enjoying a drink or two on the deck with friends and family. So what to do when you spill RED WINE on your cushions (cotton or velvet).... Firstly grab a white paper towel (not coloured as it may stain) and blot the spill area. Continue to blot the stain with clean paper towel as much as possible. Cover the remaining wine sprill with Baking Soda, and leave it on for approximately 15 minutes to absob. Vaccuum the powder once done and mix 1 tbsp of dishwashing detergent in 1 ltr of water. Use the SUDS ONLY to finish removing the stain. Use a fan to assist drying quickly and never rub or scrub velvet! |
